-> NEED to verify effects on our memory function...

Exercise 1:

Timed Spot the Differences

This exercise sharpens:

- "visual working memory"

- "change detection"

...i didn't know that... ...

...i know...!...

The Setup:

  1. Find two highly detailed, similar images (like a "spot the difference" puzzle or two busy rooms).

  2. Set a timer for 60 seconds.

The Routine:

Phase 1 (Scan):

  • Spend 30 seconds

  • studying the first image.

  • Try to memorize the placement of objects, colors, and counts (e.g., "three red books on the shelf").

    Phase 2 (Compare):

  • look at the second image.

- "associative recall"

The Setup:

  1. Take a standard deck of cards or a set of matching picture cards.

  2. Shuffle and lay out 16 cards face down in a 4 x 4 grid.

  3. Set a countdown timer for 3 minutes.

The Routine:

  • Start the timer and begin flipping two cards at a time.

...is there one on each square...?...

...presume... ...!...

...owhhh...

  • If they match, leave them face up.

  • If they don't match, flip them back over and remember their positions.

    The Goal:
