Don’t delay: Treat small stains right away.

The longer a stain sits, the harder it is to remove, so soak it … before

washing as normal. That way your stains will rise right off the fabric.

1. Fabric Refreshers & Stain Removers

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Using stain-removal wipes and packing fabric refreshers enables you to

quickly address spills and odours. By keeping your clothes clean while

travelling, these practical tools guarantee that you always look sharp

without having to do a complete laundry.

a fabric spray removes odours and ensures that your clothes smell fresh

so you can travel with confidence.

2. Alcohol wipes

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

i prefer these to Wet Wipes, because they contain a disinfectant, don’t

smell like fake lemon and I can use one of these before eating on a plane

or eating at a food cart while out and about.

I also find them easier to carry around than a small bottle of hand

sanitizer and believe it or not, I’d rather smell rubbing alcohol

than hand sanitizer.

3. Dryer sheets

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Place a dryer sheet somewhere in your suitcase (i.e. a mesh zippered pouch)

and your clothing will smell nice throughout your travels. If you are

combining shoes and clean clothes, you’re bound to have some smell

activities going on that are unpleasant.

4. Emergency Fixes on the Go

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Unexpected wardrobe mishaps, such as loose buttons, tiny tears, or sudden

stains, are common when travelling. Though they are not directly related

to keeping your clothes clean while travelling, quick fixes, such as fabric

tape, stain-removal wipes, or a small sewing kit can come in handy.

Similar to caring for vintage garments, handling delicate or special

outfits gently extends their lifespan, even when they are being moved.

Brush with caution. The titanium-dioxide powder that makes toothpaste white

can leave unsightly residue on clothing. Water and All detergents can

easily remove the mark, but you can save time and energy—and avoid walking

around with a wet spot on your tie or blouse—by brushing your teeth before

getting dressed.

Choose Travel-Friendly Fabrics That Resist Wrinkles

When travelling, choosing the appropriate fabrics can make a big difference.

Because they naturally resist wrinkles and dry quickly, materials such as

quick-dry cotton, merino wool, and polyester blends are good options.

Busy travellers benefit from lightweight fabrics because they require less

ironing and packing.

Air Out Clothes & Refresh Overnight

To allow fabrics to breathe and reduce odours, hang your clothes in a

well-ventilated area overnight. They can also be revitalised with a quick

mist of wrinkle-release or fabric freshener.
